Culture, something that changes with time, it only seems to change for the worse. Today’s culture seems to reject good people with good character. When the last generation was growing up, they were all taught right from wrong. 50 years later, those values aren’t taught anymore. Parents spend more time with their jobs than their kids. Fathers spend more time away from home, and mothers work outside the home, leaving kids to look up to other things to teach them.
Without parents to raise them, they rely on media to tell them what’s right and wrong. Music videos give kids ideas on how to speak and how to act. Then they take it to school. Other children pick up on it, and voila, a new generation is born rude, malicious, and remorseless.
At schools, kids talk back to teachers, calling them names and not listening to what they say. True also with how they treat their parents. Elementary school and it starts. By Middle school, the kids are acting more grown up, getting into things that they are too young getting into. Young teens are acting like they know everything, and that they’re the center of the world, and everyone else is just revolving around them. With no respect for elders, the older generation is being forgotten and looked upon as generators of useless information and values. When older teens give the younger generation advice on how to live their lives and things to avoid doing, they shrug them off and
